With Cross the Pond around the corner, an Oceanic First Wings flight will be held, aimed at pilots with no oceanic flying experience. Cape Verdean and Portuguese controllers are teaming up, staffing 4 airports of the Cape Verde archipelago (GVAC, GVBA, GVNP, GVSV), 2 of the Azores archipelago (LPLA, LPPD), and the Atlantic inbetween, on Sunday 26th March. Depart Cape Verde between 12 and 15 UTC, and hop over the Atlantic towards the Azores. Cross the Pond procedures will be simulated, meaning clearances will be given via natTrak (https://nattrak.vatsim.net/) and no position reports are required. |
